Martin Acres Eco Pass FAQ

What is an Eco Pass?

Boulder’s Neighborhood Eco Pass Program increases access to RTD’s transit system, lowers single occupant vehicle use, saves riders money, and enhances community relations.  It is available to residents in neighborhoods that participate in the program.

Who is eligible for an Eco Pass?

We are working on extending passes to all who live in the geographic boundaries of US-36 to the north and east, Broadway to the west and Table Mesa to the south. Martin Acres currently has two districts within the these boundaries. Please see the map below.

What is new with RTD?

RTD is transitioning all customers to its MyRide system.  That means WE have to process things differently, and YOU have to follow through with ALL of the next steps.  A big change is that EVERYONE that signs up has to have their own unique email address, which we will input into RTD’s system.  You will also use this email address to create a MyRide account and choose whether to use a mobile pass through the MyRide app or a smart card.

How much does a Eco Pass Cost?

Eco Pass prices depends on the frequency of use. Passes are valid for a calendar year.

Please contact Scott (MA2) or Jennifer (MA3) for specific costs based on your household situation.

How do I Sign up for an Eco Pass?
  1. To register for a new or renew a current NECO Pass, complete the sign up process on the Cheddar Up site and create a MyRide account through RTD.
  1. Click on the “Sign Up” button below, which will take you to a site hosted by Cheddar Up where you will find further instructions on how to navigate the site.  During the sign up process on the Cheddar Up site, enter your unique email address and mobile app or card preference.  You will receive a confirmation email directly from Cheddar Up after you have successfully completed the sign up process.  (And, no, you are not obligated to create a Cheddar Up account in order to sign up.)
  2. IMMEDIATELY proceed to creating and/or setting up your MyRide account using the MyRide Directions.  If you have ANY problem setting up and verifying your MyRide account, email us right away.  We need you to COMPLETE BOTH the sign up process on the Cheddar Up site and setting up your MyRide account in order for the upload process to go smoothly.
